Bear Spring black bear has always been a great way to kick off the hunting season. We hunt in wilderness areas using horses or quads with accommodations ranging from wall tents to my house. Hunting areas support very healthy bear populations and a two bear limit is the norm. Most years approximately 30% of the bears we harvest are colored. These hunts are spot and stalk style, available for rifle and black powder hunters only. To help fill the extended daylight hours hunters also have the opportunity to fish local rivers and lakes for a variety of trout and Rocky Mountain whitefish. White water rafting, golfing and canoeing can also be enjoyed. A maximum of three hunters per hunt help ensure a successful bear hunting vacation. |
